Project 3 Tutorial

I selected each layer and chose a different kind of fill for each. I sprayed on different symbols such as the fire and the trees. I added the border in the brush option. I made the mountains jagged by using the crystalline tool. The wrinkle tool was used to warp the grass. : )

Project 2 Final Version

I used the magic wand tool to cut out parts of the background and parts around each picture used. used the load selection and mask layer to make the water background fill in the deleted gaps. I also used the filters to added textures to some of the picutres and to make the main mario have the inverted glow. I used the drop shadow tool and outer glow to make the pictures stand out.

Project 1

After learning various beginner techniques in photoshop, I started a small collage. I used the blur tool in the background to give a sense of distance. I added various pictures on top of the background. I then gave these pictures an outer glow and an inner glow using the layer tools. I also used the sharpen tool to make certain parts of each image stand out more.

Salutations! My name is Glenn DiGirolamo (De-Ger-ALL-A-MO). I am majoring in Game Art and Design. I have a very small background in Web Design, I have worked with Dreamweaver and built a website for a dog training center. I expect this class to push my creativity to it's limits and help me gain the knowledge to work with the various software I will have to work with later in life.
